This is SOMETHING. I got here from a version played by Larry Fast performing it on nothing but synthesizers! This album that I bought as a teen was released in 1975 and I always liked this piece never knowing that it was a Broadway classic!! It did broaden my appreciation for other music. And the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps built and performed a powerful summer program around this in 1982. Inspired me to want to participate in drum corps beginning at age 16.
